My Background

A passionate graphic and apparel designer with a love for illustration.

Hi! My name is Ellen Daly. I am a graphic designer, with a passion for learning and expanding on my skills. With 10 years of experience in the world of design and marketing, I have acquired the skills and knowledge necessary to make your project a success.

I’ve worked on multiple in house marketing teams through out the years. As well as this, I have taken on many freelance clients and projects. This has given me a very well rounded approach to design, marketing and project management.

With a main focus in graphic and digital design I also have an apparel business. Romance Is Dead is my passion project right now. I have been selling custom embroidered sweaters through my instagram account @ellendalydesign.

I am always open to learning new skills and expanding my career. I hope to continue to pursue new opportunities and experiences every day.

I worked in partnership with Ellen on the GreenPlanet Wholesale Catalogue 2022 project which took place over 8 months. Ellen, throughout the project, showed dedication, accountability, and independence. From the early stages of the brief she took the new direction from stakeholders to showcase her creativity and creative direction. She worked with other department heads to ensure the catalogue was not only visually stimulating but also contained the correct information. She sourced a printer and negotiated prices to meet the company's demands and find cost savings where we could. I enjoyed working in partnership with Ellen, as with her self-led attitude, she was able to ensure the task stayed on track and within budget. At the same time, I was able to fulfill my duties as the marketing lead.

Ellen's artistic talent and knowledge of design principles, content marketing and digital production makes her an asset to any team developing creative concepts. As a dedicated and experienced designer, there are few in the industry that can match her competency, skill and expertise.

Working with Ellen Daly is uplifting and energetic. She brings enthusiasm and drive to group projects and team building exercises, most notably skilled in literature, graphic design, illustrations and marketing, Ellen is a well rounded talented digital designer. Great organization skills, punctual and dedicated to completing any task she takes upon, Ellen Daly is a reliable and enjoyable person to work with.

It has been a great experience working on the same team as Ellen. Her skills as a graphic designer bring fresh perspectives to projects and tasks at hand. She has the strong ability to find solutions to challenges and doesn't hesitate to provide direction when asked for assistance.
