Romance is Dead began in January 2022 as a personal exploration of how fashion and illustration can coexist to tell a story. I’ve always been drawn to the emotional side of design—the way a graphic, a line, or a phrase can carry meaning—so I built this brand as a canvas for that idea.

What started as a small passion project quickly grew into something larger. Through my Instagram account (@ellendalydesign), I’ve connected with customers and collaborators around the world, with pieces now shipped to Canada, the U.S., Australia, Ireland, and the U.K. Each drop is self-directed—from concept sketches and production to photography, branding, and storytelling—which has allowed me to refine my creative process and visual identity as a designer.

While Romance is Dead remains a side project for now, it represents the creative freedom and brand-building approach I hope to bring into a larger, more collaborative environment.
